Retained Executive Search (head hunt): The difference between retained search and contingency search is maybe filling the role and definitely filling the role. With Retained search you get dedicated fresh, desk based research conducted by experienced in-house researchers, with access to a high-quality database and network until the role is filled. Your retained search will be delivered in 4 key stages. long list, short list, interview and placement.
Advertised Selection: As above but to also include advertising in National press and trade magazines, generating fast, response from high-calibre candidates who have qualified themselves against our clients' opportunity and are actively looking for a career move.
Contingency Search: This is a more cost efficient solution that utilises our vast network of contacts registered with us, a search of the online databases and a head hunt for a fixed period of time. Every client assignment utilises our outstanding network of technology candidates from the UK and Europe. This type of work is delivered on a CV by CV basis with no guarantees.
